WPForms doesn’t have built-in support for tooltips, instead they allow field description which shows below each fields. Although description can be helpful at some point having it on each field will make your form look a bit lengthy and more details for users to read. Additionally, You can’t have lengthy labels for form fields but you also don’t want users to abandon the form if they didn’t understand what to fill in the field.
Tooltips are one of the best ways to show details about a specific field label only if the user needs it. By doing so the form will retain its compactness without losing functionality. Tooltips act as detailed instructions for the specific field, so it’s easier for users to understand and fill the field appropriately. Adding them will prevent form submissions with wrong information, hence helping you get better form submissions.
